Series Specs

The Wrangler SuperSeries uses the ARCA RE/MAX 08 simulator from The Sim Factory. New drivers are encouraged to start even if the season is underway as provisonal points are automatically awarded for missed races. This series is open to everyone. On race day, official practice will open at 8:00 PM Eastern. Qualifying will start at approximately 9:20 with the green flag at approximately 9:35.

There are off weeks built into the schedule. Christian Racing will hold practice, non points events on these off weeks. Race officials reserve the right to substitute tracks in the schedule during the season when deemed necessary.

Except where noted below, the Wrangler SuperSeries uses open setups, 100% damage model, 2x fuel, and 2x tire wear. Cautions will be on and the "Lucky Dog" will be in affect. Random weather and mechanical failures will be used. Here is an explaination of the Wrangler Super Series points system.

Series Guidelines

There are no restarts after the green flag; all drivers are to use extra care on the start of the race and all restarts. Drivers should remain quiet on TeamSpeak so everyone can concentrate on the green flag.

On the start/restarts, the leader will say "the pace car is in" as the pace car pulls off the track. Use a staggered formation under the yellow and resume a single file as you enter turn three before the green flag.

When the yellow flag comes out, do not advance your position; there is no racing back to the line under caution. Racing back to the line under caution is only allowed on the last lap (after the white flag).

The recipient of the "Lucky Dog" must drive through the pits with the lap down cars after receiving the free pass. If you choose, you may stop and receive service, but that is optional.

Race officials may employ "quick cautions" by manually clearing yellow flags. However, the sim will be in control of all cautions when the race reaches 10 laps to go.

The sim will be in control of all penalties; they will not be cleared manually. If you receive a black flag, serve the penalty within the alotted time to avoid being disqualified.

The Wrangler Super Series will employ the Two-spin Rule. If you are the reason a caution comes out two times in a race you must park your car for the remainder of that race.

Christian Racing Invitational

All Christian Racing Wrangler Super Series drivers will be eligable to qualify for the Christian Racing Invitational (CRI). The CRI is the biggest single event that Christian Racing sanctions. This "Big Race" has a history dating back to 2002 and is only ran once annually usually at the end of February. Christian Racing's Club Champion for 2011 will be determined in the next "Christian Racing Invitational".

Drivers qualify for a CRI starting spot by participting in the weekly Friday Wrangler Super Series league races. Win a pole (after Labor Day), a race, or be one of the top three non-qualfyied drivers at the end of the season and you will earn yourself a starting spot in the CRI. Multiple seasons are scheduled throughout the year. Click on the banner above for more information.
