Provisional Points
Drivers who miss a race will be automatically awarded 5 points less than last place for the race
Tiebreaker Procedure
In the event of a points tie at the end of the session, officials look at each driver's record. The driver with the most wins becomes the champion. If the tied drivers had the same number of wins, officials compare second place finishes, then third place and so on until one driver emerges as the champion.
