"Eric Payne wins at Atlanta"

The Nationwide Series was in action again this past Monday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway for a race under the lights. 14 drivers showed up for the event with Paul Perry showing his speed to take the top qual spot over Eric Payne. The racing was good with some green flag stops thrown in as well. A couple untimely cautions hurt a few drivers chances. When it was all said and done it was Eric Payne taking the win beating a very lucky David Clements to the line.

WTG Eric....... Eric closed the gap on series points leader Erik Goodman slightly, the gap is now only 85 pts.

The game will be in control of all penalties and the lucky dog.

In the event of a rain out the scheduled race will be moved to the next open date on the schedule. If the race is 50% or more complete and the standings are usable the race will be considered official.

No racing back to the line under yellow unless the driver ahead signals for you pass then you may do so safely.

During a single file restart with 20 laps to go all lap cars must drive through (stopping is optional) the second time by.

Failure to comply with any rule will result in forfeiting points for that nights event. Second offense will result in a one race suspension. I ask that if you wish to file a complaint, please allow a 24 hour cool down period before doing so. Lets let calmer heads prevail.

The above rules were not put into place to keep you from racing and having fun. They were put into place to promote green and clean racing. At some point when the moderating team feels we all have a handle on this some rules may get waived. Thanks for racing here with us and remember the most important rule have fun.
