MY brother in law Stuart has been battling depression for the last year, yesterday he tried to take his own life with a massive drug overdose. He is currently in the hospital in medically stable condition but he will be under many challenges mentally in trying to recover and beat this depression, and dealing with everything that comes with a failed suicide attempt. Me and Tracey had the unpleasent task of getting him certified temporarily incompetent in making decisions for himself, so he will remain in the hosptial and can't leave for a period of time while they try and make inroads with him to help him deal with the depression.

Some of you know Stuart as I brought him with me on a trip a few years ago and you met him.

Father God, I belive that this post is not in vain, that the power of prayer is a real and tangible thing, and I rebuke the ugly spirit of depression off of Staurt's body in the name of Jesus. Depression you have no right to occupy Stuart's body, I command you to release your grip on him right now in the Name of Jesus Christ. Using faith we stand up to the evil one and all his schemes of pain and destruction as he is already defeated as Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has fought and won that battle for us. Father God we praise Your Holy Name thru Christ, and give You all the Praise and Glory for the restoration and healing that is occupying Stuart's mind right now. We grab hold of this victory over depression in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Also keep Stuart and Tracey's parents Bob and Marie in your prayers, as both of them do not have the life skills to handle this crisis or to support Stuart. I am not sure either of them have a personal relationship with Christ to carry them, as they have refused to engage in any attempts we have made to introduce Christ to them in their lives.

and we Thank all the prayer warriors last night who stood in the gap with me during our Invocation.

Tracey and Brent

Yes Brent I remember Stuart well, really enjoyed being with him while you guys were here. As I remember Stuart helped us on a race setup at Callaway in the Ucar division. Was thinking about Stuart only a few weeks ago. Bonnie and I are praying and hoping for the very best for Stuart, Tracey, You and the whole family.

Praying for everybody touched by Stuart's depression.
Believing The Lord will lead him to the help he needs to overcome this,
and may Tracie's parents come to accept and know Him in their lives.

but I think our heavenly Father's loving-kindness has been even more evident in what He has refused me." Lewis Carroll

Our Family will keep Stuart in our prayers and will be praying for Tracey and Stuarts Parents. I really like Stuart, he and I hit it off when Brent & Tracey & Stu visited us back in 05', we were racing then in the ucar 4 cyl division and we all went to a practice session at the track the day before the race and had a part failure and Stu jumped right in and helped me fix that old 4 banger and we finished 2nd in the race. ( man those were grass roots racing days, no driver suit, just t-shirt and jeans, lol) I will never forget that weekend, it was a fun time with some of Canada's best. Tell Stu I said hello and that I am in his corner all the way! Stuart is a great guy and forever a team member of Young Racing.
