The Christian Racing Invitational is the biggest single race that Christian Racing sanctions. The race has a history going back to 2002. This annual event determines the Christian Racing Track/Club Champion for the previous year. Drivers qualify throughout the year in sanctioned league races just to earn a spot in this big event. The "Grandaddy of Them All", as it is known, gives all drivers the opportunity to run for a Championship Banner in a one race deal.
The 2011 CRI will take place in February of 2012. Drivers can qualify by winning a weekly sanctioned league race in all Christian Racing series. Qualifying spots will also be awarded to the top three drivers at the conclusion of each series session who are not yet qualified. After Labor Day, winning the pole position in a sanctioned league race will earn you a spot in the CRI.
