"Vegas"

Wow what a difference a week makes. The racing was fast and fun last night. A few yellows but several good runs even a green flag stop for good measure. Norm Sarma sat on the pole with a lap of 29.0597. That make four poles in a row for Norm he has got to be closing in on a record. Vladimir Pavluic was second. Dean Williams and Paul Perry made up row 2. 23 cars took the green.

As the race was winding down it was a question of whether Darrell could hold off Norm for the win. A lap car would seal the fate of Darrell and Norm as both would get collected ending Darrell's night and shooting any chance Norm had right out the window.

As the race restarted there were plenty of racers looking to capitilize on the misfortunes of the previous leaders. Ricky Taylor would bring them down to the green. As they came off of 2 Robert Moyer took his shot and grabbed the lead down the backstretch. As they came off of 4 Justin Rodgers and Paul Perry would also get by Taylor. Coming to he stripe Moyer, Rodgers and Perry were locked in a fierce battle for the win and would cross the line in that order. Taylor crossed the line in 4th followed by Kory Bickel.

Next week it is off to Atlanta the same rules package will be in place. Have a good week and hope you can make it out next Tuesday night.

SERIES RULES

Series will follow actual cup series schedule on the following Tuesday nights.

Practice will be up by 8PM ESTand Qualifying will go at 920PM EST

All races will run 35% distance full coarse yellows and penalties EXCEPTIONS will be the road coarses which will run with local yellows only.

If you must miss a race and need a provisional you must post it on the forum in the SCE section or PM directly with in 48 hours of the completion of the event.

No race will be restarted after the green flag has been taken if you have a problem speak up before the green.

The game will be in control of all penalties and the lucky dog.

In the event of a rain out the scheduled race will be moved to the next open date on the schedule. If the race is 50% or more complete and the standings are usable the race will be considered official.

No racing back to the line unless the driver ahead signals for you pass then you may do so safely.

Exiting the pit under green you must keep your car as close to the yellow/white line as possible until you reach the backstretch

During a single file restart with 20 laps to go all lap cars must drive through (stopping is optional) the second time by.

Failure to comply with any rule will result in forfeiting points for that nights event. Second offense will result in a one race suspension. Due to circumstances that can make it hard to determine who actually caused a yellow here is my definition: Any self spin resulting in a yellow and or running into the back of a car or failing to hold your line while passing or being passed this includes pushing up into a car or cutting down on a car trying to pass you. The tricky one is when a car gets loose ahead of other cars and causes a check usually resulting in a couple of the following cars to get together and spin. The caution shall be charged to the car getting loose reguardless of whether he saves it or not because by not maintaining control of their car they put the other cars in jeopardy and in a no win situation. You may ask for a review by PMing me the lap the incident occured. Once reviewed and things are settled the actions will be taken as outlined above.

The above rules were not put into place to keep you from racing and having fun. They were put into place to promote green and clean racing. At some point when the moderating team feels we all have a handle on this some rules may get waived. Thanks for racing here with us and remember the most important rule have fun.
